About the event
Burloak Aikikai is proud to participate in the Burlington Sakura Festival, an annual celebration of Japanese culture, friendship, and the beauty of spring.
Each year, the festival commemorates the long-standing sister-city relationship between Burlington, Canada and Itabashi, Japan, bringing the community together through traditional Japanese arts, culture, and performances.
As part of the festival, members of Burloak Aikikai will present a live Aikido demonstration, showcasing the elegance, harmony, and effectiveness of this traditional Japanese martial art.
